PUMICE

Since 2006 Latham Excavation has been one of the leading pumice suppliers throughout Oregon and Washington. Pumice is a lightweight aggregate material that is not only used in the block manufacturing and horticultural industries but also in the construction business.

Our pumice products include: 1/8" minus, 3/8" minus, 3/8"-1/16" horticultural, and a structural lighweight fill dirt. We can also produce exact specs for individual projects as needed. Currently we do not bag our pumice, we sell it by the cubic yard, and prices vary depending on quanities and products.

Our screened pumice is used as a soil amendment. A typical bag of soil from a retail store will more than likely have pumice in it.

Our pink fill is a less expensive alternative to more traditional fills such as topsoil.

LANDSCAPE BOULDERS

The use of large rocks and boulders adds a natural textural element to your yard or garden. Moreover, eye-catching stones or rocks are low-maintenance, durable, and organic.

SCREENED TOPSOIL

Screened topsoil is an economical choice for large grading, hole filling, and a good choice when building up low areas.
It can also be mixed with compost or peat to enrich the soil for planting, and is a a great material for building berms.

3/4" MINUS BASE ROCK

For decades this rock has been the standard in the industry for driveways, walkways, or anywhere a structural base or foundation is needed. Compacts very well.
